The International Journal of Knowledge and Language Processing (KLP) is an international quality, peer reviewed journal covering innovative research and practice in knowledge engineering and natural language processing.

It is published by AKLP in German quarterly.

Aims and Scope

KLP focuses on both fundamental theory and application of knowledge engineering and natural language processing. Natural language processing deals with the statistical and/or rule-based modeling of natural language, language resource construction, application system such as machine translation and information retrieval.

As well as being concerned with knowledge engineering, the journal covers knowledge acquisition, knowledge representation, knowledge based systems, data mining.

As such, I extend a warm invitation to you for writing a research article on KLP focusing on:

The Journal publishes papers of high quality in any area of knowledge engineering and natural language processing. Submission to the Journal is on the understanding that the article has not been previously published in any other form and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

• Research Paper: There is no restriction on the length of research paper, although authors are encouraged to be concise, we strongly suggest that the length of your paper should be at least 10 pages. Supplementary materials can be published if necessary. Please include in the main paper a set of keywords and an abstract followed by Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgments, Conflict of Interests, and References.
• Review: Should be authoritative and of broad interest to the readers of general KLP or NLP community.

Review/Decisions

Manuscripts (other than those that are of insufficient quality or unlikely to be competitive enough for publication) will be reviewed and a decision typically returns to the authors in about one month. Manuscripts with significant results will be reviewed and published at the highest priority and speed. Possible decisions on manuscripts are: accept as is, minor revision or reject. Revised manuscripts should be returned within 1 month in the case of minor revision.
